"Gross," he protests, easing back. He's still elated and giddy, laughing despite the word. "You know I can smell now. We need to get you some better laundry detergent that doesn't smell like..." He's not even sure what it smells like. He's gone sixteen years without smells, he's got a catalogue to build back up.
The alive part, though, is kind of in question. "I don't know if I'm alive," he confesses. "Klaus, I walked into the light. I should be gone, not here. Not that I'm upset I'm here," he clarifies. "It just really doesn't make any sense."
